South Georgia drivers are happy to see gas prices falling-- after rising to an almost year high.
The average price for regular unleaded in Georgia is $3.53 per gallon. That's below the national average of $3.60.
Although gas is about 12 cents cheaper than last week, prices are still 94 cents higher than a year ago.
One driver, Linda Ashton, says she is happy because high prices were hitting her pockets hard.
"My husband has a Ford Escape and it takes at least $50 to fill it up. I have a little Toyota Corolla and that takes $38 to fill it up but that's still a lot more than it used to be."
One reason for the lower gas prices is because of crude oil prices dropping to a year low last week.
